SOBER LIVING HOMES - HERE TO HELP OUR NATION'S HEROES

Cleaning Out Your Closet?

We Need Your Shoes!

Help us raise funds just by donating gently worn, used and new shoes! Be sure to ask, friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to donate too!

Collected shoes not only help support us, but they will be reused and given a second life by those in need through #microenterprise. It’s a WIN-WIN!

Full Armor Ranch, a non-profit sober living home for military veterans and first responders, serves as a transitional housing option for individuals undergoing treatment for substance use disorders. These homes, also known as recovery residences, offer a temporary living arrangement that bridges the gap between inpatient and outpatient treatment. Residents typically stay for several months as they work on rebuilding their lives in recovery.

Transitioning between residential and outpatient care can be challenging for many individuals recovering from substance use issues. This shift involves moving from a highly structured environment with substantial support and accountability to a more independent living situation, which can increase the risk of relapse. In fact, relapse rates for those recovering from drug and alcohol addiction can be as high as 60%. Sober living homes provide a supportive environment that can ease this transition.

In sober living homes, residents live alongside others in recovery and engage in ongoing therapy and group meetings. The specific rules and requirements vary by residence. At Full Armor Ranch, residents are required to undergo regular drug testing as part of our commitment to accountability and support.

IS FULL ARMOR RANCH'S SOBER LIVING RIGHT FOR YOU?

If you’re unsure whether sober living at Full Armor Ranch is the right choice, consider the following questions:

Have you completed detox or residential treatment at a recovery center?

Do you seek a supportive environment for your transition to independent living?

Would you benefit from living among individuals focused on recovery?

Are you in the process of securing employment or a new living arrangement post-treatment?

Are you prepared to engage in ongoing therapy, attend group meetings, and undergo drug testing?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, you are likely a good candidate for a sober living home.
