House Rules

You have made a choice to live in an environment that is alcohol and drug-free. The following Full Armor Ranch Hilltop House Rules are provided to help the facility run smoothly and to promote a cooperative and supportive environment.

The undersigned acknowledges and understands she/he is living in an alcohol and other drug-free shared-living situation, sponsored and operated by Full Armor Ranch. The undersigned resides in the capacity of a sober home sharing a living unit and not as a tenant. No possessory right is granted or intended by this agreement.

In the event, the undersigned sober member fails to abide by the policies and rules of Full Armor Ranch. The undersigned agrees to vacate the premises and to do so without the requirement of legal process.

The members agree to pay the sum of $1000 a month ($250 per week) for their lodging/shared living accommodations. Fees are to be paid in advance. Lodging fee payments are non-refundable members are expected to stay 7 days to 365 days.

The undersigned lodger expressly agrees to abide by the following rules as a condition of continued residency.

GENERAL RULES FOR MEMBERS UPON MOVE-IN:

  1. Absolutely no alcohol and drug use by any resident, staff or visitor of the house on or off the premises. Law enforcement will be notified if there is illegal drug use in the house by any client or visitor. Any resident in possession of alcohol and/or drugs is prohibited and will be immediately discharged from the house.
  2. Each member will meet with the Full Armor Ranch management and establish individualized plans that include the following rules and guidelines:
  3. Community: As a member, your participation in house meetings is vital. Any absence from house meetings must be discussed in advance with the house manager.
  4. Visitation: All visitors and guests must be approved to visit by the housing manger. Visitors and guests are expected to be clean, sober, and courteous. Visitors and guests are only allowed in the common areas between the hours of 4:30 and 8:00 p.m. Guests may not stay overnight.
  5. Leaving the Facility: All members are required to sign in and out when leaving the house.
  6. Curfew: Curfew will 10pm
  7. Quiet time: Between the hours of 9pm and 6am members are to be quiet in the house as others are trying to sleep.
  8. Fee: membership fee is $1,000 a month and will be paid in full upfront each month or if paying by the week, $250 a week and will be paid at the beginning of your seven-day week.
  9. Length of Stay: Members’ length of stay will be between 7 days and 365 days.
  10. Weekly Schedule: Members are expected to complete and submit weekly schedules to the house manager no later than 3:00 pm Thursday.
  11. Expectations for Recovery Support: Members are expected to attend a minimum of four (4) sober support meetings. Members are expected to provide documentation of meetings attended to the house manager.
  12. Medication: Members must inform management staff of any medications. All medications must be documented by Full Armor Ranch house management at intake and given over to the house manager.
  13. Service animals: All service animals are to be looked after at all times by the owner. This includes cleaning up the ground after the animal goes to the bathroom and cleaning up the water and food area after eating and drinking. All service animals are to be well-behaved (no barking, growling, scratching) of persons or property and have a good temperament towards the people and other service animals within the home.
  14. Noise is not permitted after 9:00 pm, and members are expected to be respectful of others’ need for sleep and quiet time.

FACILITY EXPECTATION FOR MEMBERS:

  1. Members are expected to keep the house clean, neat and safe. The home is to be tour-ready at all times. A list of chores will be posted weekly. Members are expected to complete their assigned chores daily. The inability to complete a chore must be discussed with the house manager in advance, if possible so that proper arrangements can be made. Repeated inability to participate in chores may be grounds for dismissal.
  2. Food is to be stored, prepared, and consumed in the kitchen and dining area only. No food in bedrooms, bathrooms, or living room.
  3. The kitchen shall be cleaned immediately after a meal is finished. All dishes are to be run through the dishwasher. Handwashing dishes alone is not permitted. The dishwasher must be used to ensure the proper sanitation of all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and cups.
  4. After personal hygiene, the bathroom must be cleaned immediately to inspection ready.
  5. Members are expected to keep their bedrooms inspection ready at all times. The house manager will inspect rooms daily for cleanliness. Any identified issues related to health and safety will be addressed immediately with a corrective action plan.
  6. Shared spaces/common areas are treated with courtesy, respect, cleanliness, and sharing. Please do not leave personal items in these areas after you are finished using them. Please keep them neat and clean at all times.
  7. Members are expected to be good neighbors, not just “non-disturbing” neighbors. A good neighbor is respectful of the facility and personal property, is mindful of noise and loud activity, and is kind and considerate when talking to other members.
  8. Smoking is not allowed in the building at any time. Smoking is only allowed in the back enclosed area between the hours of 6:00 am – 10:00 pm.

ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY RULES:

  1. Full Armor Ranch staff have the right to request members to provide a urine sample or other drug test; this includes random alcohol and/or drug tests. If a resident refuses to submit to any alcohol and/or drug testing, the resident will be immediately discharged from the house.
  2. Each resident accepts full responsibility for any personal property or belongings. Members should keep any item(s) of sentimental or significant value locked in their storage locker.
  3. Full Armor Ranch house staff are not responsible for the loss, damage and/or theft of any members personal property or belongings.
  4. Any resident caught stealing of anything will be immediately discharged from the house.
  5. Physical violence and/or threatening physical violence toward another resident and/or staff person will result in immediate discharge from the house.
  6. No weapons or firearms are allowed on the premises.
  7. Members are not allowed to borrow money from other members and/or staff. Borrowing or lending money is often an issue that can cause arguments or other problems between members. It can also create situations of mistrust. Therefore, it is not permitted while living in this recovery residence.
  8. Sexual activities between members or between members and their guests are not permitted in this recovery residence.
  9. Sexually Explicit Material: Sexually explicit pictures, magazines, reading materials or movies are not allowed. Child Pornography: Any resident found with child pornography (or any sexually explicit material containing images of children or models who look like children) will be subject to being asked to leave the sober community. The material will be confiscated and may be destroyed or turned over to the police for investigation.
  10. Neighbors: Good relations are to be maintained with our neighbors. Please conduct yourself accordingly and familiarize yourself with property boundaries. Any potential disputes should be immediately reported to staff. Do not enter the neighbor’s property.

RULES FOR MOVING OUT:

Please provide the house manager with a 7-day notice for your planned move-out. Once a date for move-out is agreed upon, please remove all belongings and return the room to its original state by 5:00 pm on the move-out date. If an extension is needed, an agreement must be made in writing with the Full Armor Ranch house management.

If you are asked to move out of the residence due to unsafe behavior (i.e. drug or alcohol use, violent behavior, theft, etc.), you will be escorted by the Full Armor Ranch house manager to your room so that you can gather your belongings. Arrangements for picking up the remainder of your belongings (if needed) will be made with management. A surrender of your keys to the facility will be made at this time as well. Any personal belongings left at the house after three days post the agreed-upon move-out date will be donated or discarded without compensation.

VIOLATION OF ANY RULE MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISCHARGE FROM THE HOUSE.
